DB9 COM RK3588 Boards and Enclosures

The DB9 COM physical interface supports protocols such as RS232, RS485, and TTL, with signals routed from the RK3588 motherboard to the enclosure shell. Dingchang's standard RK3588 motherboard defaults to 1x RS485, 2x RS232, and 1x TTL port, totaling 4 serial ports.   

1. RK3588 Standard Motherboard   

   Key integrations:   

•    4 serial ports: 3x TTL (1x optional RS485, 2x optional RS232), 1x debug port  

•    4G IoT SIM card expansion  

•    Dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces  

•    Optional high-speed Wi-Fi 6  

•    CAN FD industrial interface support  

•    1x SATA hard drive expansion  

•    2x MIPI CSI camera interfaces  

•    Display support: 2x HDMI OUT, 1x LVDS, 2x EDP, 1x MIPI DSI (can add 1x MIPI DSI adapter board for 3x HDMI OUT requirements)  

2. RK3588 Enclosure

   The enclosure, designed for the motherboard above, exposes:   

•    3x DB9 COM serial ports (3x TTL, 1x optional RS485, 2x optional RS232)  

•    Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports  

•    4x GPIO  

•    Dual HDMI output interfaces  

•    6x USB ports  

•    1x CAN FD industrial communication interface  

•    1x TF card slot  

•    1x SIM card slot for IoT communication
