Dingchang's RK3588S midconfig industrialcontrol motherboard (DC_A588S) is preintegrated with 7 serial ports forconvenient development and debugging, including:   6xTTL serial ports (2xports can be optionally configured as RS232, 1xport as RS485) ,1xTTL debugging port ,(Can also be modified to 2xRS485 ports)   

When integrated into complete machines or industrial control boxes, the serial ports can be configured as DB9 COM ports,supporting protocol options including RS232, TTL, and RS485 (for reference, see illustration below).  

The 7 serial ports of DC_A588S serve distinctfunctional mappings: RS485: /dev/ttys0  

,RS232: /dev/ttys3, /dev/ttys4,TTL:/dev/ttys1, /dev/ttys7, /dev/ttys8, etc.
