Is RK3588 sufficient for use as a host computer?

RK3588 can be used for high-configurationhost computer development, such as ARM-based equipment monitoring andacquisition systems, which can be applied in workshop production lines. RK3588is a high-end embedded general-purpose main control chip and the most advancedone in the ARM CORTEX-A architecture.

It is recommended to use the Ubuntu 20.04system with QT for GUI interface design and development. For camera AI systems,USB cameras, MIPI cameras, and POE cameras can be used for data collection ofproduction data. The support for WIFI5 or WIFI6 can reduce the distancelimitations and maintenance costs of traditional networks.

RK3588 can serve as a server host computer,with cameras connected via USB or other interfaces as video capture devices. Itis recommended to develop the host computer software using the QT + SQLitedatabase framework. The GUI design can be divided into several modules, such asreal-time overview display of the workshop, information summary, and networksettings.

It is expected to realize the entire systemmonitoring process from network to data collection, control, display, and statistic alanalysis.
