CY568 is one of the core board models of Dingchang's RK3568 hardware and software platform. The letter "C" stands for "coreboard," while the letter "Y" is the initial 拼音 (pinyin) of "邮票孔" (stamp hole, i.e., castellated hole). Together, they signify the castellated hole specification of the core board, and "DC" represents the pinyin name of Dingchang.

Castellated hole core boards are directly soldered onto the baseboard using a chip mounter. Castellated holes are convenient for soldering and ensure firm connections.

This DC-CY568 features an upgraded RK3568 core CPU, specifically the RK3568B2 (where "B2" likely refers to the second stepping version). It is available in two grades: commercial grade and industrial grade.

Commercial grade: Operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.

Industrial grade: Operating temperature range of -20°C to 80°C.

Dingchang offers both grades during factory shipment; customers can specify their requirement when placing orders.

It employs the domestic RK3568 embedded main control chip with a quad-core 2GHz CPU, a dual-core high-performance GPU (ARM G52 2EE), and a 1TOPS   AI computing power NPU. It supports various video input/output interfaces, such as LVDS, EDP, MIPI DSI, and HDMI, and can extend interfaces like SATA and CAN. With a maximum on-board 8GB LPDDR4 memory, it supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and 4G, making it ideal for embedded projects and devices such as small NVRs, NAS, edge IoT gateways, industrial control, and healthcare.
