Does the video player need to be bound to the motherboard?

The cloud server generally does not require activation. During activation, it is necessary to bind the CPU ID or MAC address of the player or playback box (in other words, bind unique information such as the motherboard, CPU, or network card). Some brands of digital signage software are activated by serial number.

If your company's digital signage player software APK (also known as the signage software APK terminal or controlled terminal) needs to be adapted to Dingchang's motherboards, the above method is also used. When customers deploy or install the APK, they must activate it before use, allowing the server terminal (i.e., the main control server terminal, typically an Alibaba Cloud server based on IP or domain name) to normally deliver advertising information, videos, and images to the APK terminal (i.e., the controlled terminal).  

Additionally, monitoring and managing customer IoT card traffic for digital signage also requires binding unique information such as the CPU ID or motherboard SN to achieve the purpose of monitoring and managing terminal traffic. Of course, it is necessary to first obtain the APIs of the three major telecom operators to access the manufacturer’s own IoT card traffic management system.
