Introduction to RK3128 Set-Top Box DigitalSignage Motherboard

The RK3128 advertising set-top boxmotherboard from Dingchang has built-in 4G and Wi-Fi functions. It can quicklyimplement the development of commercial display projects such as digitalsignage and advertising screen playback by cooperating with stand-alone ornetwork version information distribution software.   

RK3128 belongs to the relatively new chipof the RK312 series. It has not been discontinued yet, and Dingchang is still shipping in large quantities. It supports common HDMI 2K monitors and LVDS 2K LCD screens.  

When developing the set-top box casing,HDMI interfaces or LVDS screen interfaces can be freely led out, meeting therequirements of common advertising screens, industrial screens, and ordinary display screens.

1. Based on the RK3128 main control A7 chipwith a main frequency of up to 1.2GHz, supporting 1080P video hardwaredecoding.  

2. Storage supports up to 128G TF cardexpansion.  

3. Supports HDMI 2K monitors and LVDS 2KLCD screens.  

4. Supports Wi-Fi and RJ45 Ethernet. The 4Gmodule (Quectel EC200M) is SMT soldered, featuring strong stability and bettersignal reception.  

5. Abundant peripheral interfaces include 4USB ports, 1 TTL port, 2 RS232 ports, 1 RS485 serial port, 5 IO ports, and 1touch I2C interface.  

6. Optional functions include hardwarewatchdog, timing power on/off, and infrared.

7. Supports Android 4.4, 7.1, Debian,Ubuntu 18.04, and Buildroot.  

8. Provides Rockchip firmware flashingfiles and specification documents for download.

9. Suitable for project development incommercial display advertising machines, vending machines, visitor machines,video intercom systems, playback boxes, and the Internet of Things.
