Can the onboard network port be a PoE-powered network port?

Most development boards do not have PoEpower supply functions for their network ports, which can only support Ethernetcommunication. Some development boards can achieve PoE power supply byexternally installing a PoE power module, while a few can have multiple networkports with built-in PoE power supply functions.

Dingchang offers a more complete range ofdevelopment board models than other manufacturers in the market, all of which have complete board solutions for the above-mentioned PoE power supplyscenarios.   

1. Development boards without PoE powersupply   

Most of Dingchang's development boardmodels in this category usually have only 1 or 2 Ethernet ports (e.g., modelDC_E568), including those with 1x100M, 2x100M, 1x1000M (e.g., model DC_P568),and 2x1000M (e.g., model DC_A588). These are applicable to devices requiringstable LAN and Internet communication in large-scale scenarios, as well asIoT-related applications.   

2. Development boards with external PoEpower modules

Development board models in this category(e.g., DC_A566, DC_Z9D3, DC_Z566) can achieve both Ethernet communication andPoE power supply by installing external PoE power modules. They are suitablefor developing devices such as door phones, access control facial recognitionsystems, and conference door sign machines.

3. Development boards with built-in PoEpower supply

Dingchang has a development board model(e.g., DC_R566) with four network ports supporting simultaneous PoE powersupply. Using the RK3566 quad-core main control chip, it features rich built-infunctional interfaces, such as 2x lock control ports, 1x human body inductionport, and 4x Ethernet PoE ports. It is suitable for developing single-door ordouble-door AI vision cabinets, storage cabinets, and other projectdevices.
