How long is the service life of the development board?

Based on the working environment and thematerial quality of the development board, its service life is at least 5-10years without any issues. Dingchang’s Android development boards and Linux development boards have been deployed in markets and projects across thecountry, including southern China, northern China, and even overseas. Werecommend that customers in southern regions use commercial-grade orconsumer-grade development boards, while customers in northern regions canpurchase professional industrial-grade development boards.   

1. Commercial-grade or consumer-grade development boards are sufficient for working environments with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 70°C.  

2. Industrial-grade development boards canbe perfectly applied in environments with temperatures from -20°C to 80°C, andcan even withstand extreme temperatures from -40°C to 80°C (with partial protection measures required).  

In terms of material quality for development boards, some irregular manufacturers may use second-handcomponents, which can affect the service life of the boards. Both new and existing customers should be cautious when distinguishing low-cost developmentboards on the market.  

Dingchang is itself a manufacturer of development boards, with strict control over components from the source. We mainly purchase main control chips from original manufacturers (such as Rockchip and Allwinner), and resistors, capacitors, and other IC chips from first-tier agents or original IC factories.
