Matters such as backlight considerations,selection of jumper caps for LVDS screen power interface voltage, how to take power from LVDS backlight power interface, precautions for standard power parameters, and installation/maintenance tips all contribute to the proper useand lifespan of Android boards, helping to avoid damage.
1. Backlight Precautions
For example: When supplying power to thebacklight of VbyOne/EDP screens, the 12V supply current must not exceed 1.5A.
If using a large screen above 19 inches or a screen backlight with power exceeding 20W, please take backlight power from another power board to prevent systeminstability. The backlight enable voltage is 3.3V; if other voltages arerequired, please add an IO level conversion circuit.
This 12V power supply can only be used as a backlight power output and must **not** be used as a power input for the main board.
2. Jumper Caps for LVDS Screen PowerInterface
For example: Used to select the LVDS screensupply voltage. The screen voltage can be selected by inserting a 2.0mm jumper cap, supporting 3.3V/5V/12V screen power supply. To select 5V, insert thejumper cap into the two pins marked by the 5V red frame.
Please confirm that the screen supply voltage in the screen specification sheet is correct and that the corresponding power supply of the board can meet the maximum current required for the screen to work.
Please use a multimeter to verify that the power supply selected by the jumper cap is correct.
Donot connect different power supplies together, as this will damage the mainboard.
3. Standard Power Parameters
The total current of USB peripherals isrecommended not to exceed 2A, and the total output current of 3.3V isrecommended not to exceed 200mA; otherwise, the device may fail to operatenormally.
For 12V power input, on the basis of ensuring a minimum current of3A, the current should be increased accordingly as the total power of peripheraldevices increases.
4. Installation and MaintenancePrecautions
When touching the main board, please wear antistatic tools such as an antistatic wristband (with good grounding);
Do not perform assembly, wiring, or other operations with power on;
Please check the interface definitions ofthe main board and peripherals to avoid incorrect or reversed connections;
Use M3 flat roundhead screws to fix the main board; do not use countersunk screws or screws of larger specifications. When tightening screws, avoid deformation or bending of the main board;
Pay attention to level matching of IOports, serial ports, enable pins, etc.;
Pay attention to the power of external screens; for those with high power, consider external power supply;
Pay attention to the overall power of the product and select a power supply with sufficient power.
